Wells described the uninterrupted vista of spectacular coastline as 'the finest view west of Naples'. The Deer Park Hotel Golf & Spa is set in 450 acres of tranquil parkland overlooking the sea near the picturesque fishing village of Howth. The hotel is situated in the grounds of Howth Castle and surrounded by its own 4 golf courses. Cliff paths lead around the coastline, through Howth village and its ruined abbey, and past Baily Lighthouse. Howth's pubs, fine food and charming character make it a pleasant outing from Dublin. The hotel is situated in Howth Castle Demesne, home to the famous Rhododendron Gardens which are a spectacular sight when in flower during late April, May and June.
